Praying for Syria with Open Doors

Like many Christians I receive mailings from a lot of different Christian organisations and Mission Agencies, one that I always take note of and am a passionate supporter of is Open Doors. I commend them to you, they have a mission to support and resource the persecuted church, and this month have launched a campaign to pray for the church in Syria which incidentally I blogged about yesterday. I feel a conviction to pray for the church there, and so am committing myself to blogging their prayer points and praying for Syria each day for the next 30 days. I have also made a financial commitment to support the church in Syria through Open Doors.

Why don’t you do the same?

Todays prayer focus:

Pray for an end to the violence and bloodshed that has wracked the country for over two years. An Open Doors contact writes: ‘Hell is still everywhere. Pray that the Syrians will start hoping for a better world and ask that the Lord Jesus will bring peace to this country!’
